Eye To Eye***
We took about 22+ home recordings from Coreys 8 track to James Stapleford, a producer I worked with on "A Taste Of What's To Come". The idea was to clean up the tracks best we could and add some things here and there. I know Corey recorded most of this stuff as reference only. Some of the tracks are really amazing and you can hear the intensity in Corey's playing, especially on his tapping songs and instrumental guitar pieces. With Corey being gone, I made all the decisions on what songs to use and the order for each disc. I felt he guided me somewhat and I hope he would be pleased with the outcome. When we are ready to release, there will be venue and release dates/details on my website and Corey's www.coreyparrish.com
EYE TO EYE:
This is a track I did some back vocals on for Corey's CD, "Soundtrack To My Life". We used to perform this together live all the time. Corey wrote all the guitar parts and lyrics/melody. I would play the second guitar part and sing usually. It's one of my favorite songs & always brings me comfort when I play it. I also decided to cover this song on my new album with drums and bass.
