Krista Parrish
Fans say that Parrish combines the vocal skills of Ella Fitzgerald, the guitar chops of Susan Tedeski and the soulful music of Stevie Wonder, in a fresh and totally unique way.
Krista is the product of a classically trained guitarist father and opera singer mother but somehow has emerged into a soulful, bluesy jazz influenced artist. She recently finished up an EP titled Half Myself which features songs Walk & Keep Your Eyes Closed which have put her on soul/r&b charts and earned her two licensing agreements from national TV/Film companies.

Krista plays a variety of venues including Philadelphia’s finest listening rooms, Tin Angel and World Café Live as well as music festivals and college campuses. She has shared stages with national acts Tony Joe White, grammy award winning songwriter, Jen Chapin, daughter of Harry Chapin and Jim Weider, lead guitarist from the legendary rock band The Band.
In addition to her solo success, Krista enjoys performing with a five piece band and an acoustic trio. Her live performances are never dull as she interprets her songs with a subtle new twist that keeps her audience in the palm of her hand.

Krista studied & majored in jazz guitar and voice while a music major in college and often adds jazz standards to her set lists. Sultry, honest, witty and charming are just a few adjectives that sum up Parrish’s music.
